The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps households afford the broadband connectivity necessary for work, school, healthcare and more.

The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households. The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household. ArklaFiber is proud to be a Participating Provider for the Affordable Connectivity Program.

We will review and validate your program eligibility. Once confirmed, we will register your ArkLaFiber broadband internet account with the Government. Once registration is complete, a $30/mo credit will be applied to your monthly internet account with ArkLaFiber.

Ways to Apply for the ACP discount…

1. Apply for Affordable Connectivity Program Benefits

If you are a new or existing ArkLaFiber customer seaking the Affordable Connectivity Program benefits, simply click the application buton-links above and follow the steps on the  website.

2. Transfer your ACP benefit to a new Service Provider

If you have been approved for the ACP Benefit with a previous internet service provider, and want to switch to ArkLaFiber, please see use the Transfer Exception Worksheet. (The sheet must be completed, signed, dated and returned to ArkLaFiber before you notify us. If you have questions in filling out the form, call the help number at the bottom of the form.

ACP subscribers will be limited to one benefit transfer per calendar month. The current Internet Service Provider does not need to be involved to complete your ACP Benefit transfer.

TE-1 Improper Transfer: Subscriber was improperly transferred due to internet company not making the required disclosures, required consent from household.

TE-2 Operation Ceased: Company failed to provide service

Lifeline Support for Affordable Communications

Lifeline is an FCC program that helps make communications services more affordable for low-income consumers. Lifeline provides subscribers a discount of $9.25/mo on qualifying monthly telephone service, bundled voice-broadband packages purchased from participating wireline or wireless providers. The discount helps ensure-that low-income consumers can afford 21st century broadband and the access it provides to jobs, healthcare, and educational resources.

How Lifeline Works

To participate in the Lifeline program, consumers must either have an income that is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or participate in certain federal assistance programs, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, Supplemental Security Income, the Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit, or certain Tribal Programs. Program Rules

  • This Agreement governs the Lifeline service provided by ArkLaFiber to the Customer. ArkLaFiber shall provide Customer with voice telephony service within the continental U.S., including local and long distance service, as agreed upon. In consideration for this service, Customer shall pay ArkLaFiber the sum agreed to under the Customer’s service plan. ArkLaFiber shall provide the Lifeline discount of up to $9.25 per month on service for an eligible low-income Customer or up to $34.25 per month for an eligible Customer on Tribal lands.
  • Nontransferable: A Customer participating in the Lifeline program cannot transfer their eligibility in the program to another person or household.
  • Only Eligible Consumers May Enroll: The Lifeline program is available to qualifying low-income customers. It is the Customer’s responsibility to provide proof of eligibility and to request participation in the Lifeline program. Customer must notify ArkLaFiber no later than 30 days after any changes to eligibility. Customer must recertify their eligibility every year. Failure to recertify eligibility will result in Customer’s deenrollment from the Lifeline program.
  • One Discount Per Household: The discount can be applied to voice telephony phone services. The discount CANNOT be applied to both landline and wireless phone services. Only one Lifeline discount is available per household. “Household” is defined as any individual or group of individuals who live together at the same address.
  • Subscribers must recertify their eligibility every year and should respond to any requests from the National Verifier’s or state’s Lifeline administrator to recertify eligibility. Subscribers who fail to recertify their eligibility will be de-enrolled from the Lifeline program.

Consumers may need to provide documentation if their eligibility cannot be confirmed automatically by checking a program eligibility database (for example, SNAP, Medicaid, etc.)
